lonely existentialist moose

moose seeks partner with fresh perspective to search for answers to the universal questions in life. (deep breath here) primarily - what is the plural of me? is it meese? meeses? mooses? moosi?
seriously! hell is not knowing the plural of yourself. how can i find love if i can't put an appropriate label on 'we?'
(sigh.) exploring the greath truths ... that's what counts in this life.

I'd love to meet a drag queen- and be friends with one- but I'm so down to earth...I'm not sure there's enough "drama" in my life to keep one around.
I could feed him though! :)

I wasn't a virgin when I married- and I could have been infected with the AIDS virus...I certainly wasn't a "Virginal" bride. My point (at K9's) had more to do with monogamy as a way to prevent AIDS-
Monogamy or condoms- why does one have to be a moral choice, and the other a critical vehicle for stopping AIDS? Both work, and one has a higher rate of effectiveness than the other.

I know monogamy is not easy- I'm walking the walk sister...
and of course, AIDS is worse.

And- because I can not bear for you to be frustrated~ the plural for Moose is... moose! The same dang word! :) See below :)

ha ha ... gotcha but the moose doesn't read ... hee hee.

i hear you on the monogamy thing. really. but the lifestyle of many gay men is not something that affords monogamy. things are changing, but oh so slowly. so, i guess condom is promoted in the sense of a harm reduction measure. but i do see your point ... i sorta being silly about the drag queen thing.

regarding monogamy for me ... it honestly is not hard for me. i have absolutely no desire for any other man. and i don't think i ever would. i'm here and he's there ... 2 times zones away. and ... i don't feel in the least bit weak ... if you love someone ... i mean love them so much that you would die for them, then why is fidelity a struggle?

but the difference is that you and i have made a vow. we have knowingly and willingly committed ourselves to life with our man. and ... for me i am being honest when i say that after martin, there are no others.

but i know there are many that do not have that wonderful joy of having found that 'missing part of oneself' (someone had a blog post on that recently, i can't remember if it was you ... or ...?). and so, if they are going to engage in sexual activity, then do we prevent them from the opportunity of a condom, b/c we cling to abstinence?

that is the problem in africa ... and other developing countries where NGO's of particular moral/religious persuasion provide health care servies/education. the people do not learn about what to do if they get sexual b/c all they hear about is that they shouldn't get sexual! urgh ... see the circle of this?

i am not saying i am all for promiscuity. far from it. but i have seen far too many young men die from AIDS. and i have known some of them. and i'm watching one die right now, in the very next room. y'know what i mean?

i value the principle behind abstinence i think its completely valid. abut i think in forcing abstinence, we've sort of devalued the sexual act and realm in the way we were trying to prevent.

maybe i'm stoned ... but i think this makes some sense. do you get what i mean?
